Yacht Charter Rules & Regulations
By submitting a reservation or deposit, all guests acknowledge and agree to the following rules and policies.
ONLINE RESERVATION POLICY
All online reservations must be made and confirmed at least 7 days prior to your requested charter date.
If you are looking to book a reservation less than 7 days in advance, please call or contact our reservation team directly to confirm availability before submitting your reservation.
Last-minute reservations are subject to yacht and crew availability.
Wesley Exotic Rentals reserves the right to review and confirm all reservations.
1. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS
• A deposit is required to secure your yacht, date, and departure time.
• Your reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and confirmed by Wesley Exotic Rentals.
• The remaining balance must be paid on or before arrival/boarding, according to your booking confirmation.
• A mandatory $200 crew gratuity applies unless your reservation states otherwise.
• Optional services, including jet skis, food, decorations, additional time, and other upgrades, may require additional payment.
2. IDENTIFICATION
• The primary renter must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
• The name on the reservation must match the identification provided.
• Guests must provide accurate information when completing their reservation.
3. ARRIVAL & BOARDING
• Guests should arrive 30–45 minutes before departure.
• Late arrival does not automatically extend the scheduled charter time.
• Exact marina, dock, and boarding instructions may be provided approximately 48–72 hours before the charter.
• All guests must follow instructions provided by the captain and crew.
4. GUEST CAPACITY
• Maximum passenger capacity varies by yacht and charter arrangement.
• The number of guests approved on your reservation may not be exceeded without prior authorization.
• All adults, children, and infants must be disclosed before the charter.
• Additional guests, when legally and operationally permitted, may be subject to additional fees.
5. SAFETY
• Safety is our priority. Guests must follow all instructions from the captain and crew.
• Required safety equipment and life jackets will be maintained aboard according to the vessel's applicable requirements.
• Dangerous behavior, fighting, intentionally damaging equipment, or interfering with the operation of the vessel is prohibited.
• The captain may terminate a charter when conduct creates a serious safety risk.
6. ALCOHOL & SMOKING
• Alcohol consumption is restricted to guests who are 21 years of age or older.
• Guests are responsible for drinking responsibly.
• Smoking is only permitted where specifically authorized by the vessel's rules and crew.
• Illegal drugs and other illegal activity are strictly prohibited.
7. JET SKIS & WATER ACTIVITIES
• Jet skis are optional and subject to availability, weather, operator eligibility, and applicable laws.
• Jet ski rentals may be charged separately at the rate stated in your reservation.
• Guests participating in water activities must follow all safety instructions and applicable boating regulations.
• Water activities may be suspended by the captain or crew when conditions are unsafe.
8. DAMAGE & CLEANING
• Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or members of their party beyond normal wear and tear.
• Excessive cleaning, damaged furniture, equipment damage, or missing property may result in additional charges.
• Please immediately report accidental damage to a crew member.
9. WEATHER
• Yacht operations are subject to weather, water conditions, mechanical conditions, and captain approval.
• The captain has final authority regarding whether conditions are safe for departure or continued operation.
• Weather-related cancellations or rescheduling will be handled according to the policy stated in the customer's booking agreement.
10. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
• Deposits secure a specific yacht, date, and time and are subject to the cancellation/refund terms shown during booking.
• Customers should review all cancellation terms before submitting payment.
• No refund or rescheduling promise is valid unless confirmed by Wesley Exotic Rentals in writing.
11. CHARTER TIME & LATE RETURN
• Your charter begins and ends according to the times listed on your reservation.
• Unauthorized extensions may result in additional charges.
• A $120 fee may apply for every additional 30 minutes when a late return is caused by the guest or guest party.
12. PERSONAL PROPERTY
• Wesley Exotic Rentals is not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, damaged, or left aboard the yacht.
• Guests should check the vessel for phones, wallets, jewelry, bags, and other belongings before leaving.
13. DECORATIONS
• Decorations must be approved before boarding.
• Decorations that could damage the yacht or create a safety/environmental hazard may be prohibited.
• Guests may be responsible for damage or excessive cleanup resulting from decorations.
14. CAPTAIN'S AUTHORITY
The captain maintains final authority over navigation and onboard safety. Instructions from the captain and crew must be followed throughout the charter.
15. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By submitting payment and/or participating in the charter, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted the applicable Wesley Exotic Rentals booking policies, rules, and charter agreement.
